Micheline se façonne en chantant dans les clubs de New York City, ensuite elle joue avec des orchestres et enregistre des albums. Maintenant habitant sur la Côte d’Azur, elle tourne régulièrement avec de nombreux projets en France, aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique.
Après une formation en violon jazz au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, Jessica déménage à Nice et se tourne vers la guitare et le chant. Elle joue en Europe et aux Etats-Unis, et son dernier album de compositions originales a été enregistré à la capitale de la country, Nashville (USA).
Le répertoire des Filles en Rose est donc Franco-Américain, basé sur l’amour de ces deux pays et leurs riches traditions musicales.

The duo Les Filles en Rose was born from the magical encounter of Jessica Smith and Micheline Van Hautem around a campfire in the woods of Vence...
Micheline began her career singing in the clubs of New York City, before playing with orchestras and recording several albums. Now living on the French Riviera, she tours regularly with shows in France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
After studying jazz violin at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Jessica moved to Nice and focused on songwriting, guitar and singing. She plays in Europe and the United States, and her second album was recorded in the capital of country music, Nashville (USA).
Les Filles en Rose’s repertoire is therefore Franco-American, based on their love of these two countries and their rich musical traditions.
