I brought together my versatile voice and stage presence with the musical finesse of pianist Guus Westdorp (known for Ramses Shaffy and Toon Hermans), double bassist Jan den Boer and percussionist Rob Sprinkhuizen. Recorded live in one take during a Sunday afternoon concert at Theatre Lux, this record exudes enthusiasm, pleasure in playing and pure craftsmanship – a must for lovers of French chanson.
